Hi, I have started this Blog as both an experiment into blogging and as a way of discussing consumption and sustainability.
In the last year I have read and seen much about global warming, CO2, environmental concerns, green products, alternative energy, oil price increases, child labour etc etc.
As I live in England I have not noticed much change so I find it hard to see the immediate effects on my environment. I am also slightly cynical of the reasons why many companies are jumping on the 'band wagon' of the environmental issues.
However, there must be something in it, so rather wait until the would burns up I thought I would see if it were possible to make a difference. So over the next couple of months for everything I do I am going to see if it can be done more sustainably.
Each time I try a different approach I will post to this blog, so please give feedback if you think it was a good idea, or if you can suggest an even more sustainable way of achieving the changes.
